About us

​We are a friendly multidisciplinary team including speech pathology, occupational therapy and early childhood practitioners.  We enjoy problem-solving together, sharing our challenges and expertise, developing our skills and supporting each other. 

 

We began as a paediatric practice, but now offer speech pathology to adult clients, under the support and guidance of an experienced aged-care senior speech pathologist.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Providing best-practice assessment and speech pathology services to adults and/or children in our modern clinic.

• Writing assessment and progress reports.

• Liaising with families and other professionals.

• Maintaining and expanding your knowledge base.

• Sharing your knowledge with the rest of the team.

• Providing a mobile service to surrounding areas on some days, which would attract a travel allowance.

 

About You

• You have an interest in working in private practice and are committed to directly supporting clients and their families.

• You have a committment to learning and applying evidence-based therapies to your practice.

• You are keen to engage in professional support team meetings

• You are empathetic and will work with our families within a non-judgmental and supportive framework.

• You may be a new graduate or you may have years of experience - all are encouraged to apply.

 

Requirements

• Bachelor of Speech Pathology or higher

• Blue Card for Working with Children

• Certified Practising Speech Pathologist status with Speech Pathology Australia

• Eligibility to Obtain a Medicare Provider Number

• Professional Indemnity Insurance

• Right to Work in Australia
